The volunteers of Kilwinning Heritage apologise for the closure of the Abbey Tower Heritage Centre since February 2025. North Ayrshire Council is planning a programme of repairs. Other KH activities will continue as normal: free public talks, research, community archive project, book sales etc. For up-to-date information, contact us or follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Kilwi...
Work has been completed on the restoration of stonework of the Abbey Tower. It is now looking great, but a great deal of clearing up and reinstatement of displays is needed before we can re-open to the public. We're aiming for Easter 2027.
