Heritage Centre closed
The volunteers of Kilwinning Heritage apologise for the closure of the Abbey Tower Heritage Centre since February 2025. North Ayrshire Council is planning a programme of repairs. Abbey Tower update
As work continues on the Tower's restoration we have been given a new completion date of mid-late September and we hope to re-open the Heritage Centre in Spring 2027. We regret that there will be no Papingo shoot in 2026 and that we will be unable to participate in Ayrshire's Doors Open Days 2026. We are looking forward to a refurbished Tower which will continue be a great asset to the town for many years to come.
