Winter talks
Wednesday 5 February at 7 - 8pm Congregational Church Hall, Woodwynd, Kilwinning. Dane Love, renowned local author, explores the history of the Covenanters in Scotland, focusing on Ayrshire Covenanters and their monuments. The Covenanting period took place from 1638-1688 and Ayrshire was at the heart of the struggles. Dane Love is author of Scottish Covenanter Stories and The Covenanter Encyclopedia, and is secretary of the Scottish Covenanter Memorials Association. A selection of his books will be on sale.
